A class action lawsuit was filed last month in Gila County against Timothy Trent, Globe’s Superintendent of Schools who was removed in June 2009 from his position (with pay) pending an audit of financial and personnel matters. The results of the audit is expected to be released in January.

The current lawsuit involves both former and current employees of GUSD and accuses Trent of , among other things,

1:Having a “policy strictly forbidding GUSD employees to speak with GUSD Board members about issues related to their employment or GUSD’s business.”

2: Keeping a list of  people he did not like, which he shared with Kinnard, and targeted them for harassment, mistreatment, forced resignations, or humiliation.

It goes on to state, “Trent’s actions were outwardly aggravated, outrageous, malicious, or fraudulent and guided by an evil mind.
